Wednesday, August 30th will be the Barbour County Fair’s annual 3rd Graders’ Day.  This special day was started several years ago to get more kids involved and in hopes that every child would have an opportunity to visit the fair.  The children will be guests of the BCFA for a fun-filled day full of different activities such as learning about the history of the Mouse Run School House, how the bees make honey with the Beekeepers, and how corn meal is ground at the grist mill.  They’ll visit the horse barns and the livestock barns, and much, much more.  They will get to enjoy popsicles and receive goodie bags to take home.
