Olivia is the 17 year old daughter of Olive Zinn of Moatsville. She is 5’10’ and has blue eyes and blonde hair. She is Senior at Philip Barbour High School where she is the Student Council Vice President, head yearbook editor, a member of the
Theatre and Spanish Club, won the best character/citizenship award, won 1st and 2nd place in the Poetry Out Loud contests, is on Principal’s Honor Roll, and was a 2018 Jovani It Girl semi-finalist in Atlanta Georgia.

Olivia lists three words to describe herself as independent, charismatic and hard working. Her hobbies are modeling, acting, painting, traveling around the world, and learning new languages. In 2018 Olivia assisted with the restoration of the Philippi United Methodist Church. She directed a canned food drive for Heart and Hand of Philippi, performed in two plays for community theatre, and works at Molly’s Ice Cream shop.  Upon graduation from high school, Olivia’s goal is to obtain degree in political science and further her education by attending law school. While in college, she would like to improve her Spanish by studying abroad in Mexico.

Olivia’s favorite thing about Barbour County is that “we have the high honor of being where the first land battle of the Civil War was fought. That fact is substantial to who we are and where we call home. I admire the rich history
that Barbour County possesses tremendously”. She wants to be the next Miss Barbour County because “I believe I can represent Barbour County well as I always take things into my own hands and I express something great – the
power to be a leader.”

Sponsors for Olivia are Molly’s Ice Cream Shop, Lavish Boutique Used Car Company, Diamond Preowned Auto, Classic Cuts and the Philippi Inn.
