Sierra is a 2018 graduate of Philip Barbour High School where she was a member of the Philip Barbour Colts Marching Band. She currently is a sophomore at Pierpont Community and Technical College where she plans to obtain her
associates degree as a veterinary technician with a specialty in large animal veterinary medicine. Standing 5’10” with brown hair and hazel eyes, Sierra is the 19 year old daughter of Samuel and Melissa Dickenson of Philippi.
Three words to describe Sierra are driven, compassionate and sarcastic. She lists her hobbies as farming, hunting, fishing spending time with family and friends and showing livestock. She is a member of the Barbour County Livestock
Association, a 4-H volunteer and is employed by Dairy King of Philippi.
Sierra’s favorite thing about Barbour County is “My community! No matter where you are someone knows you and everyone is willing to help at any time.” Sierra wants to be the next Miss Barbour County ‘to inspire women everywhere
and to show everyone what true beauty is and that beauty is not just on the outside. I also feel as though my integrity could inspire the younger generation.”
